Services and Device Management
Windows Services are sophisticated long-running applications that run in background. Services can be configured to automatically run on Windows startup and run in background as long as the system is on.
LADMR enables the administrator to view and manage all Windows services and devices related to local and remote computers in a domain (current or remote) or workgroup.Using this feature of the software, services and devices can be managed for single as well as multiple computers. Built-in Filter Objects feature of the software makes it easy and fast to find specific Windows service. With Service management features of Lepide Active Directory Management and Reporting, the administrator can perform the following tasks:
- Install Services on multiple computers simultaneously
- Control services on multiple computers simultaneously
- Start services on multiple computers simultaneously
- View active and inactive services
- Start, stop, pause, resume, restart, refresh, and delete services installed on a computer
Device Management
Lepide Active Directory Management and Reporting also helps in viewing devices installed on a system. When you click a selected device, the related MMC opens up that helps to manage the selected device. Basic operations available for devices installed on a computer are:
- View list of all the devices installed on a remote computer
- Get access to shell functions of a device
- View device driver services
