View Event Details with Query

Create query for an array of event types and you can rest assured of generating reports for meeting the queries. With this option, you can create, update and delete queries that were used to view any particular event detail. With the help of generated query reports the user will be able to view the desired entries only.

You can create a query on the following Windows event types:

  • Windows PowerShell
  • Application
  • System
  • Security
  • DNS
  • File Replication Service
  • Directory Service
  • Other Logs

Depending on the specified parameters, the administrator will get information like Event Type, Computer Name, Group Name, User Name, Event ID, etc. pertaining Application Events, System Events, Security Events, DNS Events, File Replication Events, Directory Service Events, Windows Power Shell Events, and various other Windows Events.

All this data collectively will generate event log details for the query you created and executed. You can create query for the user group you selected for generation of event logs and therefore, the event logs based on query is generated for all the users in the selected group.
