MS Office Save As

Hi Lepide User,

We are testing Lepide File Auditor and we have a lot of "Deletes" regarding the "save as" process of MS Office.
So if you "save as" a file in MS Office, then you have always a Delete, and because we have to monitor the Deletes in our file system, it is very complicated to know which delete is a "real" delete.

Is there any option that Lepide recognise susch operation? Any filter possibilites?

This is Microsoft default behavior with the files. Those events are getting generated by the windows driver, which is the reason why our tool is reporting them to you.



By default, we have enabled the auditing of .tmp files. You have the option to exclude them under the custom policies of file server audit. Let us know if you want to know about the procedure of excluding specific file masks and we'll help you out.
