Hi Clayman The Event Viewer automatically creates several filtered views of the event logs. Filtered views are listed under the Custom Views node. ] When you select the Administrative Events node, you see a list of all errors and warnings for all logs. When you expand the Server Roles node and then select a role-specific view, you see a list of all events for the selected role. for more detail you can take a look at this thread this must be useful for your query http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/m.../dd630944.aspx Moreover, You can try our tool i.e. Lepide Event Log Manager for filtering events logs according to your need You can able to filter out the events from our Event Browser tab with in the software or you can create custom reports in order to filter out those events from the report tab and save those filtered event logs in .pdf or .mht format in any external storage.

Hi Clayman Yes, you can filter out the event logs according to your need, what OS are you running? As the filter option is in a different place depending on which OS you are running.
