The Customer informed us that they cannot see the File copy operation in the File server reports.
The Customer wants to change the Super Admin user in the Web console.
The steps performed to address and troubleshoot these Customer issues are as follows:
Login to the Lepide Main Console and then go to the File server reports.
As mentioned by the customer, there are no file copy activity records when the customer performs any File copy operation.
Suggested to the customer and also provided a demo to the customer that after taking access of the Shared Folder that is being audited in the File server, from Lepide server or any other machine the File copy operation will be displayed in the reports.
Accessed the Shared Folder from the Lepide server and did some file copy changes to the one of the shared file and folder.
Checked the Logs folder in the agent machine and found that there were updated logs of the recent changes done.
Checked the file server reports and showed the Customer that the records are showing recent File Copy changes.
The second issue was that the Customer had a query that they want to change the Super Admin user in the Web console.
The steps to do this are as follows:
Go to the Settings option in the Main Console and select the LDSP Web Console option.
In the “Define Web Admin user“ text box enter the username that the customer wants to change
Enter the corresponding password of that user and click on Apply.
After that login to the web console with that user successfully.
