The configuration process for enabling the Preview option is the same for SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, and OneDrive.
To access the Data Discovery and Classification module:
Open the Lepide Data Security Platform console.
From the left-hand navigation pane, select Data Discovery and Classification.
The Data Discovery and Classification screen is displayed.
Configuring the Preview Option in the Legacy Console
To configure the Preview option in the Legacy Console, follow the steps below:
Selecting File Types
Before running Data Classification, you will need to configure the file types that you want to scan. This is done as follows:
Select the file types you want to scan for data classification. By default, All file types are selected.
Select whether you want to Include or Exclude the specified file types.
Enable the Option to Preview Data checkbox if you want to preview the classified data in the reports.
Click Next to continue.
NOTE: If you enable the Preview option for an existing profile, the classification process must be restarted from the beginning.
