Exclude User from Auditing in Net App File Server.

The Customer informed us that they are receiving high volume of logs from one NetApp file server and that user is being used as a service account in Lepide.

Steps to troubleshoot the issue are as below:

1. Observed that the Lepide version is 26.1 and they have many file servers out of which 4 are NetApp file servers.

2. The Customer want to exclude one user from one NetApp filer as that user is generating huge amount of data in the report.

3. Created a text file with the name Exuser.

4. Copy the name in the same format from the NetApp reports.

5. Add that name in the Exuser file and save it.

6. Paste that file in the following location:
   \\Installation folder\FSA\FSMonAgent\NetApplistner\NetApp file server.

7. After doing this, restart the services of FSMON.

8. We observed that there were no more records generating from that user in the NetApp file server reports.
