Change the connection time out and query time out in the secondary database and schedule data discovery module reports

TheCustomer wants to change the connection time out and query time out in the secondary database for CPA module and also want to schedule Data discovery module reports.

The Customer informed us that they want to change the Connection timeout and Query timeout for Secondary database but they are unable to do so. The Secondary database connection time out and query time is not changing.

The steps performed to change the connection and query time out for secondary database are as follows:

• Go to the Current Permission Scan settings module and edit the Primary database settings by clicking on the pencil icon as shown below:

• In the Database settings page, change the value of the connection timeout from 300 to 600 and apply the changes as shown below:

• Now go to the Secondary database column, select the file server and click on the pencil icon. We can observe that the same values are showing in the Connection time out and Query timeout.

• The Customer informed us that they are not able to schedule the Data Discovery module reports in the Main Console.

• We suggested customer that the DDC reports cannot be scheduled in the Main Console but it can be scheduled in the Web Console. The steps are as follows:

• Go to the Web Console, click on Settings and then select the Subscription option as shown in the screenshot below:

• Click on Subscribe in the Add subscription page, select Lepide Identify and then select Classified Files (File server) as shown in the screenshot below :

• Configure the Subscription and set the Scheduled Report to be saved in the local drive or send it by email.

• After saving the Scheduled Report on the local drive , generate the report for the DDC classified files.
